Melanie Walker - my dear friend and host of the television show, COME ON IN, on the TCT Television Network - invited me, Dianne Sherrill, and Tammy Vice to be her guests on her Christmas special. Tammy, Dianne and I met in Nashville and traveled together to Marion, IL. It was a wonderful chance for good friends to catch up on each others lives.
Three and a half hours later, we arrived at the studio, where Melanie was busy making preparations and nailing down last minute details. Melanie taped two COME ON IN shows before ours, so we were able to watch and help. If you haven't had a chance to see Melanie's show - you are really missing out! She does a great job of conveying God's love to her audience.
We had so much fun sharing our songs on the show. Thanks to Melanie for inviting us, and to producer - Amanda Pratner - for going that extra mile for us. The entire crew was wonderful to work with - making us feel right at home. The show will air during Christmas week on the TCT Television Network.
After the taping, Melanie took us all out to eat. It was a terrific "girls day (and night) out" and we even managed to make it home before the stroke of midnight - just barely.
