My dear friend, Ruth Miller, asked me once again to share my music at the "Girlfriends" weekend, sponsored by the Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Birmingham, AL. This was the 3rd year for this event.
This year we stayed at the newly renovated Saint Bernard Retreat Center in Cullman, AL. Speakers were Ginny Rice, Julie McGough, Shelia Birchfield, and Ruth Miller. This year's theme was "More Joy for the Journey." I wrote a new song with the same title just for the event.
Ruth promised her famous chocolate chip cookies and they were delicious as usual! It was a great time for all attending. We laughed, cried, and strengthened our faith in Jesus Christ.
