I was so honored to be asked to take part in the 1st Annual Gospel Music Fan Fest in Columbia, TN. It was a great time for all who attended, and I'm already looking forward to next year.
I wish to express my thanks to Daniel Johnson of THE PEARLY GATES, for the courage to "plow" new ground for all of us artists. He tirelessly poured himself into this event, making it a success for all.
I wish to thank Dr. Paul Jennings of Columbia State Community College for allowing all of us USAGEM members to "invade" the campus. His smiling face welcomed us, and it was evident that he believes in our mission - to join all genres of Christian music together for the greater good.
Thanks to Jimmy and Dottie Snow and all the TCT Network Television crew. They always do great work!
And my special thanks goes to Band Director, John Rees, and band members (Andy Reiss, John Root, David Russell, Mike Douchette, and Ernie Rowell) for a job very well done! Singing with a live band is so much more fun than singing with tracks, and these guys were like the EverReady Bunny - they kept going and going and going!
